That's right...I did it, I had Avery's ear pierced today at her 9 month appointment! I must say, during the appointment it was horrible and she was very mad at the nurse, but she is back to her happy self and never knew anything even happened!

Today was Kyle's first Father's Day and he deserves a day all about him (and so does my Dad and my Father-in-law, Ron)! ALL wonderful men and great Dads!
Kyle is truly a wonderful Dad and loves his girls very much. He loves to play with Avery, teach her new words and skills, feed her, and bath her. He spends a lot of time with her and she LOVES her Daddy! Avery lights up when she sees him and talks and talks to him! The only thing Kyle says he is not good at is....changing poopy diapers, the question is, is he not good at it or does he not want to do it? Ha! I think he does just fine! Kyle received a gift from me and from Avery! I bought him a game from Dick's that we can take to the beach, tailgate, etc. And, Avery got him cologne from Banana Republic, she even picked it out!

Sweet Avery is 9 Months old and she.is.a.mess! Avery is crawling and FAST, so there is hope for me yet to lose 10 more pounds! ;0) She is also pulling up on everything, which is scary because she tries to pull up on things that aren't very stable. She has found the stairs...not good. She loves unpacking and pulling out ALL her toys. One is just not enough! Is it bad we put her in the pack in play to play when we are cooking, etc? Isn't that what it's for? Just this past week Avery has starting cruising...she's not fast at that yet! Just practicing!
Unpacking from the weekend!
So...not only is she a mover...she is a TALKER! Kyle loves to teach her new words, she is saying "Dada, Dog, Ball, Bye, Hey, oh (for uh-oh), and momma (only a few times). She waves when she says Hey and Bye. It's soooo cute! This past weekend we were at Five Guys with Kyle's family and every time someone walked in the door Avery would Wave and say "Hey." It was HILARIOUS!
I signed Avery up for her first music class. It is once a week for 5 weeks at a Church in Warner Robins and the it's called My First Music Discovery (so all you mommies out there, check and see if your city offers this class.)

We had sooo much fun! It was quite a workout for me too! Avery played lots of different instruments and we ran, skipped, jumped, around the room to music too. The instruments were Avery's favorite part! She L-O-V-E-D the shaker eggs!! We even got a coloring book with the songs we sang and a CD!
Go get those eggs girl!

Today 6/9/2010 marks three years of marriage. It really does feel like yesterday when we were walking down the aisle at Lake Oconee and having a hard time lighting the unity candle! (That was a sight to see). Now, three years later, we have owned 2 homes, lived in Monroe, to living in Macon, have 2 pets, and 1 beautiful, healthy baby girl! Kyle and I are sooo blessed to have such a wonderful marriage, supportive family, and great friends. We are loving life and try not to take anything for granted.

I am one of those fortunate moms that has a baby that loves her sleep! Thank goodness! She goes to sleep around 8pm and usually wakes up between 7/7:30. However, since she is pulling up in her crib a couple of times a week she will wake up around 6:30 yelling Dada! So funny, therefore if she says Dada, I make Kyle go get her! Such a good Daddy!
Avery's Bedtime Routine:
6:30pm- Dinner time
7:00- Bath (because she is a messy eater)

After shopping for some shoes for Avery...I found a great deal! First I went to Target, they had some very cute shoes. Then, I went Marshall's and they had the SAME shoes for LESS money!
