Where did this year go?

Still trying to get a "good" picture!

I cannot believe it's November and this year is almost over! Our little girl is growing up so fast. It's so exciting all the new stuff she learns, she really is a SPONGE! Even though I teach students with special needs, I think it is so rewarding teaching Avery and would LOVE to teach all babies, they absorb everything and it's truly amazing how fast they learn!

Talking....What else would she be doing? Okay, maybe running away from us!

Avery has moved up to the next class at her school and we were very hesitant. I thought no way is she ready to eat at a table in a chair or sleep in a cot. She's still a baby....but she has proved us wrong. The other babies in the class look huge compared to Avery, but she fits right in with that jabbery mouth and mature attitude. Her teacher said the other day she fell asleep on her cot saying "Avery, Avery, Avery." That is her new favorite word and mine too. It's so sweet. Also, this "big girl" has totally dropped her paci addiction too. It was so easy!

Avery loves to sing songs and do the motions, her favorite song right now is "The itsy-bitsy spider." She also loves for us to ask her where her body parts are, she knows belly, ears, eyes, head, feet, and nose. I know I have mentioned she loves to talk, my mom gave me great advice last weekend. She said, "just listen", even though it may drive me crazy one day, especially in the car, "just listen to her!" I pray she doesn't...but, there may be a time where she doesn't want to talk to her mama!

Halloween was so much fun this year. Avery was a ladybug and loved wearing her costume...which was good because she did have to wear it about 4 times! The Rackett's came to stay with us and we went trick-or-treating (only about 4 houses), or as Avery said "trtre". Little Lily was Minnie Mouse and the cutest Minnie Mouse I have seen! These pictures are especially for Nana and Papaw who asked for some Halloween pics.

Finally, just a word of wisdom...teach your little one to hug, because we taught Avery to kiss and now she wants to kiss EVERYONE. Not a good idea! She is blowing kisses...so we try to remind her just to blow a kiss. ;0)

We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl, who is filled with a lot of spunk. I can't imagine who she got that from! Have a Great Thanksgiving!
